Herbal Skincare Guide

An independent microbiological laboratory tests all product batches. Shelf life is between 12 and 18 months depending on the product. Because all ingredients are of natural origin, products are best used within six months of opening.
Temperatures over 30ªC should be avoided. Ideally, products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Contamination, possibly leading to spoilage, should be avoided as much as possible by closing lids securely when not in use. Creams should be applied with clean hands or a fresh spatula.

 

C l e a n s i n g

To benefit fully from any further care your skin must first be clean and free from all traces of impurities.
Make a warm compress using a clean wash cloth. and apply firmly to the face and neck areas for a few minutes. This soaking helps the aromatic essential oils and plant oils dissolve and soften skin waste.

Apply a small quantity of cleanser to your face and neck and massage using small circular motions with enough water to produce a creamy lather. Remove the emulsion using a warm damp wash cloth. Rinse the last traces by splashing warm water over your face and neck. Finish with a cold compress. No need to towel dry.

For very dry skin remove all traces of make-up and impurities with the Relaxing Facial and Body Massage Oil. Rinse.

 

T o n i n g

Saturate a cotton pad with about 5ml of toner. Gently apply to a cleansed, damp face and neck. Can also be applied with a spritz atomiser. No need to towel dry.


M o i s t u r i s i n g

Each morning apply a small amount of moisture cream to a slightly damp cleansed and toned face and neck.
Each evening after cleansing and toning apply either the Relaxing Facial Massage Oil or a small amount of Rosehip and Vitamin E Regenerative Night Cream. To complete your natural skin care routine apply the Rosehip and Evening Primrose Eye Cream around the delicate eye area.

Every week your skin will benefit from a deep cleansing, exfoliating treatment to gently remove built up dead skin cells and impurities and to unblock pores.


S c r u b

Apply a small amount of the scrub to a cleansed face and neck (best carried out in the shower or bath).
Massage with a little water using small circular strokes. Rinse with splashes of warm water. Follow with your usual toner and moisturiser.


M a s k

Apply a small quantity of the mask to a cleansed face and neck using the back of a teaspoon, avoiding the eye area.
Leave on for 15-20 minutes and remove with a warm compress. Splash the skin with warm water to remove all traces of the mask.
Follow with a cold compress and finish with your usual toner and moisturiser.
